Guidelines for testimonials
Thank you for agreeing to provide a testimonial for the Becoming YU Program! The content you provide us will be published on Becoming YU’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) for promotional purposes. To ensure consistency between all student testimonials, below are a few guidelines for you to follow when recording or writing your testimonials:
Video Submissions:
• A short video about your experience with the Becoming YU program that is between 30 seconds to 2 minutes long.
• Mention your name, your program of study, and your year of study
• Record in front of a clean background.
• Record in a quiet space with minimal background noise.
• Speak with a clear voice (speak close to the camera if you can)
• If you can, record vertically rather than horizontally.
• If possible, use the best quality of camera available to you (720p-1080p).
• Wear something nice, bonus points if you decide to wear something red or something York related!
Audio + Photo Submissions
• A short audio clip about your experience with the Becoming YU program that is no longer than 5 minutes.
• Mention your name, your program of study, and your year of study
• Record your voice in a quiet room with no background noise.
• Speak clearly and slowly, clips will be shorted if there are pauses in between.
• A photo of you looking your best, or wearing York clothes.
Text + Photo Submissions
• A short statement of 50 words to 150 words about your experience with the Becoming YU program.
• Mention your name, your program of study, and your year of study
• A photo of you looking your best, or wearing York clothes.
